This workshop is for teachers and administrators working in programs serving children Birth to Five. GOLD provides support through every step of the ongoing assessment cycle; helping teachers understand what to focus on, why it’s important, how to gather and interpret assessment information, and how to use that information to plan meaningful learning experiences. Attendees will practice using sample data for short and long-term planning; explore strategies for communicating children’s progress in a meaningful way; and practice generating, interpreting, and explaining each of the major reports in GOLD® |
Objective |
Participants will:
* * Use data for short and long term planning (inform program progress)
* * Give examples of the major reports featured in Teaching Strategies GOLD Online
* * Practice interpreting data in reports
* * Recognize when to use different reports and how to generate them
* * Communicate children’s progress in a meaningful way |
