Description |
This workshop is designed for educators and administrators working in programs serving children age Birth to Five. Participants will explore the purpose and structure of Teaching Strategies GOLD, discuss ways to support those who use GOLD, and understand how to use the various administrator, teacher, and family features of GOLD. |
Objective |
• Introduce and explain the purpose and structure of GOLD
• Identify the areas of objectives for development and learning
• Explain the progressions of development and learning
• Interpret the color-coded bands for each age group of children
• Create classrooms and observe how to enter observation notes and progress checkpoints
• Learn how to use planning and communication features with team members and families |
